You know who else has seen the new Regular Show early? …Me!
That’s right, I’ve seen two episodes of Regular Show: The Lost Tapes, Coffee Shop Wars and Corpse Flower, courtesy of Cartoon Network and WBD and as of today the embargo has been lifted so I can share my thoughts and give you guys the 411 on what to expect, while also striving to be as non-spoilery as possible. How do you even spoil something like Regular Show? especially when we’ve already had a tearjerker of a finale that killed off Pops? I’m not completely sure yet, but given that they evaded showing critics and content creators the actual premiere and we have a clip of Pops chillin’ in the after life, we can safely assume a portion of this series will be set after a Regular Epic Final Battle.
But let’s focus on the questions I can answer! Like, how does this revival compare to the original series? What exactly is the format of this new series? And how’s the animation? Because clips have been looking a little, you know….inconsistent.
