Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin: 2.99 Crore Houses Completed | PMAY-G Update

Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana–Gramin is transforming rural housing across India. Implemented since 2016, the scheme provides permanent/pucca houses with basic amenities to eligible households. As of March 2026, 2.99 crore houses have been completed, moving steadily towards its cumulative target of 4.95 crore houses by 2029.
