'Zionist' or 'pro-Israeli-government'?

In an article for The Spectator Rod Liddle suggests that 'Zionist' is becoming a socially acceptable way of saying 'Jew'. But Ava-Santina Evans argues that 'Zionist' has simply become shorthand for describing someone that supports the Israeli government, adding that activists on the left are failing to listen to Jewish voices within its movement while they claim the goalposts are being moved for how they can criticise Israel. #edition #politics #israel
