Description
I had to treat ALL the guinea pigs for Mites. Marigold was the only one showing signs but everyone had to be treated. I use Ivermectin Pour On and used Guinea Lynx chart for dosing based off their weight in grams. Each pig received 3 treatments; day 1, day 7, day 14. Ivermectin kills live mites, so multiple doses are required to kill the eggs that hatch later. Eggs usually hatch 3 to 4 days later after the 1st dose or can hatch up to 10 days later, this is why treating 3 times is important.
