They recently announced they’ll be speeding up buying 250 tracked armored fighting vehicles and that they’ll be looking for a replacement for all their Leopard 2 tanks. This comes as the Arctic region becomes a global flashpoint of sorts, with Russia and China worrying the West amid retreating sea ice exposing more shipping routes and natural resources.
