Description
Every once in a while, a build comes along that is so outrageous, so over-the-top, and so completely unnecessary that it instantly becomes one of the coolest things you’ve ever seen. This is one of those builds.
When the crew at XtremeMetalWorx told us they were building a custom set of massive 32-inch steel saw blade wheels for our Can-Am Maverick X3 XRS, we honestly didn’t know what to expect. We knew it would be crazy. We knew it would be unique. What we didn’t know was just how much destruction these things were capable of.
The second we laid eyes on them, we knew this project was going to be legendary.
These aren’t ordinary wheels. These aren’t modified wheels. These are giant steel monsters that look like they belong on a machine designed to clear forests, not cruise trails. Every blade, every weld, every detail showcases the incredible fabrication talent and creativity that XtremeMetalWorx brings to the table. The quality is absolutely unreal.
Bolted onto the Can-Am Maverick X3 XRS, the machine looked completely transformed. The aggressive stance, the massive steel blades, and the overall appearance made it look less like a side-by-side and more like a machine built to conquer anything unfortunate enough to end up underneath it.
Then came the fun part.
The first touch of the throttle unleashed complete mayhem.
The lawn didn’t stand a chance.
Grass exploded. Dirt launched sky-high. Deep ruts appeared almost instantly as the giant steel blades grabbed hold and started digging. Every pass became more destructive than the last. The harder we pushed the X3, the deeper these wheels carved into the ground.
It was like watching a giant rotary tiller mixed with a turbocharged off-road race machine.
The Can-Am Maverick X3 XRS handled the punishment like a champion. The turbocharged power plant kept pulling hard while the custom saw blade wheels clawed their way through everything in front of them. Dirt flew so far that we were finding chunks of lawn in places they had absolutely no business being.
The craziest part wasn’t just how wild the wheels looked—it was how well they worked. Every time we thought they couldn’t possibly dig any deeper, they proved us wrong. The combination of XtremeMetalWorx craftsmanship and Can-Am performance created one of the most ridiculous off-road setups we’ve ever experienced.
This is exactly why custom fabrication is so awesome. Anyone can order parts online. It takes true skill, imagination, and determination to create something nobody else has. XtremeMetalWorx didn’t just build a set of wheels—they built a conversation piece, a work of art, and a machine capable of turning a perfectly good lawn into a disaster zone in a matter of seconds.
Projects like this are what make off-roading so much fun. Pushing boundaries. Testing crazy ideas. Building things simply because they’re awesome. That’s exactly what this build represents.
Massive thanks to XtremeMetalWorx for taking a wild idea and turning it into reality. The workmanship, attention to detail, and overall execution exceeded every expectation we had.
The big question is… would YOU drive your Can-Am Maverick X3 XRS on giant 32-inch steel saw blade wheels? Or would you leave the lawn destruction to us?
