Description

During the height of the 1940 German invasion scare, Britain mobilised everything for its defence, including a one-third scale steam locomotive and carriages that were cleverly converted into a miniature armoured train armed with machine guns and anti-tank rifles. It has to be seen to be believed. Even more incredibly, this tiny train fought against Luftwaffe aircraft...and won! Special thanks to subscriber Asing Bouwman for very kindly suggesting this fascinating topic!
