Papi’s Burgers coming to McGregor, Texas

McGregor, Texas — A McGregor restaurant that opened nearly two decades ago as a Mexican food staple is reopening under a new name and a new concept. Papi Taco, which closed over the Christmas holiday, will reopen the week of March 9 as Papi's Burgers. Victor Olvera, who is taking over the restaurant from his parents, Antonio and Irma Olvera, said the change reflects both a family transition and a menu shift the business had been building toward for years.
