Register your business for the Paid Parental Leave scheme

If your business is required to pay Parental Leave Pay, the easiest way to register is online. Register for Provider Digital Access, also known as Proda, using the online account drop down menu on our website. You'll first need an individual account, then you'll be able to register your business. To register a business in Proda you must be an associate or an authorised person listed on the Australian Business Register or ABR. The details in Proda must exactly match your ABR. You'll need to enter the name of the organisation, the Australian Business Number or ABN, and the organisation contact email address. After you've submitted your registration, you'll get a confirmation email with a Registration Authority number unique to your business. Once your business shows on the My Organisation screen in Proda, you can link to Business Hub. You'll then be able to apply for a service and select Paid Parental Leave. To apply, you'll need to enter your business's physical and postal addresses, opt in to provide Parental Leave Pay, tell us which categories of employees you'd like to provide the payments to, and what the total number of employees is for your business. Then add your organisation bank account details. We'll pay Parental Leave Pay for your eligible employees into this account. You'll also select the pay cycle frequency and the frequency of payments from us when you submit the declaration. You've successfully applied for Paid Parental Leave services in Business Hub.
