Why Dhigurah is the Best First Stop in the Maldives

This is my first time in the Maldives, and I decided to start my journey on the local island of Dhigurah. I am so glad I did! Pro tip: as soon as you arrive, grab a bike and head south. The island stretches out into one of the most incredible sandbanks I’ve ever seen. It’s the perfect way to experience the local culture while getting those "postcard" views right away.
