Religious gadgets are always quite surprising for the technology used in them. This plug-in night light has a huge number of audio samples. They are divided up as:- Verses of the Quran. Protection from curses and evil. Remembrance and chants. Routine prayers for every regular task or routine. To maximise efficient use of memory the samples are quite heavily compressed - but still good audio quality, and many standard samples are used as part of longer phrases. The primary language of the daily prayers and sacred texts is Arabic, although not all muslims speak that language as standard - much like the Catholic church using Latin. The power supply isn't too bad and the main circuit board is nicely laid out, with most of the work being done by an IC which is probably a microcontroller optimised for applications like this.
