Description
Dark spots, uneven skin tone, post-acne marks, and stubborn hyperpigmentation can be incredibly frustrating, especially when expensive creams and treatments don’t seem to give you the results you’re hoping for. In this video, I share a simple 3 ingredient skin support mask you can make at home using 1 tablespoon of plain unsweetened yogurt, regular, low-fat, full-fat, or plain Greek yogurt, a tiny pinch of turmeric, and a few drops of raw honey. Mix these into a smooth paste, apply directly onto the darker spots or uneven pigmented areas, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse gently with lukewarm water. This may help support healthier-looking skin because yogurt contains naturally occurring lactic acid that supports healthy surface skin renewal, turmeric contains curcumin and antioxidant compounds that may help calm inflammatory stress in the skin, and honey helps hydrate and support the skin barrier. I also talk about why what you do from the inside matters just as much, especially when it comes to oxidative stress and pigmentation. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps support collagen production, skin repair, and may help support healthier pigment balance over time. Great food sources of vitamin C include oranges, grapefruit, lemons, strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, papaya, bell peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes, and many leafy greens. Remember, dark spots are often influenced by inflammation, irritation, sun exposure, and skin stress, so protecting your skin and being consistent matters. Let me know in the comments if you try this and what changes you notice.
