It’s the Bugatti v Koenigsegg rematch you’ve all been waiting for!
Last year, we pitted the Chiron Super Sport against the Jesko Attack. But this time, we've taken things one step further... We've got our hands on the same Chiron Super Sport from the first race, but this time we've got our hands on the ultimate version of the Jesko - the Absolut. What's more, it's also running on E85 fuel!
But will this Koenigsegg avenge the Attack’s loss from last year? Let’s check out the stats…
Starting with the Bugatti, it’s the Chiron Super Sport, which comes with an 8-litre quad-turbo W16 that produces 1600hp and 1600Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and the car weighs 1,995kg. Following several interior & exterior modifications, the car we have here is valued at £5,000,000.
As for the Koenigsegg, it’s powered by a 5-litre twin-turbo V8, and when running on E85 fuel, it puts down 1,600hp and 1,500Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 9-speed multi-clutch gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,390kg. Just like the Bugatti, it’s worth £5,000,000.
This is the rematch you all wanted, and both cars are producing the same amount of power! But does the Koenigsegg have what it takes to bring down the Bugatti? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
