Description
Rain and showers continue in the south-east, but is finally starting to break apart and clear as we go into Tuesday. There has also been some heavy rain south of Cairns over the past day or two, and north of Sydney over thew weekend.
Now the attention shifts to the tropics as high pressure dominates the south of Australia, bringing a mostly dry week (once today/tomorrow's wet weather clears).
A series of tropical lows will spin up over the coming week, with some chances of a tropical cyclone - but because there is so much low pressure it's a bit tricky to work out in advance which one may become a storm. For now, we're monitoring the potential rain, wind and tracking of these lows, and we'll have more details tomorrow and in the days ahead.
