Description

Mar 17, 2026 7:35am Here we have the 44r remote job local coming off the Tidewater onto the UP Fresno Sub. This day I chased this train from here in Modesto to the pass siding tracks in Downtown Modesto and back to their line and chased to the Hatch area. When I arrived here, the back end of a UP manifest was passing on the Fresno Sub as you seen in the short posted before this video. If you are not aware, the 7th St bridge in Modesto was closed unfortunately a day before this so you have to transverse to this of the side by Hwy 99. Also, when I was coming to Modesto this day, a MET train was in the pass tracks and they left back to their line before this train came out to head their. If I was able to catch what direction they were going when I heard them earlier, I would of stopped by the MET to get a crossing on the connection track section of their line near the Gallo Winery but I needed jey information like direction when I heard them earlier which I didn't hear so I didn't go check the pass tracks. Turned out they were headed north to it when I heard them earlier as I heard them again headed south back to their line so I missed that. Union Pacific Railroad LRS44R Local freight train passes through the South 7th Street railroad crossing on the UP Tidewater Sub, Branch Line turning onto the UP Fresno Sub northbound in Modesto, California headed to downtown to the north pass siding track and the south pass afterwards.
