Oda, my debut album out now - http://danielaandrade.ffm.to/oda I believe that conversations are a practice, a place we can choose to keep returning to with patience, openness and love. At times it can be a much needed conversation with yourself, or perhaps with someone else. In ways that I did not expect, conversations with my mother became a key element in the process of making this album. Growing up, my mother used to make all my dresses, one day, that version of our conversations ended and a new one began. Spanning in-person and long-distance, these 5 years of exchanges, questions and learnings with my mother interweaves Oda's 10 songs. Here is a continued piece of conversation we shared.
