Pop singer Bonnie Tyler dies aged 75: “You took it by the balls, Bonnie!”

► Musician Suzi Quatro pays tribute to her friend and singer Bonnie Tyler, who has died at the age of 75. Quatro says the 80s pop star, who was behind timeless classics like 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' and 'Holding Out for Hero’, “left the world with a wonderful soundtrack for the heart.” She says: “Bonnie took it by the balls, and Bonnie knows what I mean. If she’s listening, which I know she is, you took it by the balls Bonnie.” The singer, whose real name is Gaynor Hopkins, has died just months after she was treated in intensive care, after being placed in an induced coma following emergency intestinal surgery.
