One of New Zealand’s Most Technical Trails… Can I Finally Beat GSD?

Two years ago, I walked away from this trail unfinished. In 2023, GSD at Skyline Bike Park got the best of me after a heavy crash. It’s one of the most technical trails on the hill — steep, rocky, and pretty scary to be honest! Crashing on this trail has been in the back of my mind for the last two years and so on my recent skyline visit I decided it was time to attempt it again. In this video, I return to Skyline Queenstown for a part 2 video with one goal: redemption. I work my way back up to GSD, take the time to read the trail properly, and commit to riding the sections that stopped me last time properly in hopes of then completing a full top to bottom lap.
