Huge Upgrade! Swapping a ZF5 Transmission into a 70s Ford Truck!

In this episode of Dentside Depot, Aaron swaps a ZF5 transmission into a 1979 Ford F250 Crew Cab pickup. The 4x4 trucks never came equipped from the factory with an overdrive transmission and this can be a relatively inexpensive major upgrade for one of these classic Fords. Lets get her done! For this application, you may need to shim the transmission up between the mount and the bottom of the case roughly 1/4" for the transfer case to fit and obtain the correct driveline angle. Slight trimming of the back of the mount (rear left position) may also be required.
