Description

A man was busted driving at 100mph on the M6 in Lancashire with £2.5 million worth of drugs in his car. Stuart Wilson, 33, was pulled over by officers on Stubbins Lane, near Garstang, after cops clocked his grey BMW M3 Competition speeding along the northbound of the motorway.  Wilson appeared “very nervous and anxious” during the roadside stop, according to the force. He subsequently asked officers whether he was going to jail. He then told them there was “something in the boot” of the car, but claimed he did not know what it was. Lancs Police Specialist Ops commented that "its not the greatest idea to drive on the M6 at excessive speeds (over 100 mph!) whilst having approximately £2.5 million worth of cocaine in the boot of your car". "Drug supply and drug use have a damaging effect on neighbourhoods, bringing disruption, criminal activity and hardship to the people who live there. By targeting those responsible, we aim to reduce this harm and protect our communities from further impact."
