Some of the most remote in Denmark, but limited how remote it can get. A lot of birds and deers etc. No bears, only a few wolves. _________________ Consuming: Water and coffee. Tschum 2P SOSWA (made in Germany) https://tschum.de/en/Tschum-2P-SOSWA.html 2. Who made the stove? Poshehonka S (made in Russia) https://tschum.de/en/Poshehonka-Wood-Stove-Removeable-Shields.html 3. What type of axe are you using? Weight? Dimensions? Homemade. A classic russian axe design. C45 steel. 700 grams (including handle), 10.5cm cutting edge, 57cm handle, 14.5cm from pole to cutting edge. Probably my favorite axe for general light bushcraft tasks. 4. What type of knife are you using? And what about Yakut knife? Homemade. Puukko - classic nordic knife. Spring steel and birch burl handle. Puukko is probably my favorite style of bushcraft crafting knife. I like Yakut knives as well and will still use yakut knives on off in future videos. Here is a video showing how I made the puukko https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKF7oDsugYc&t=713s 5. What wood did you cut for firewood? And why so big? Oak. It was the smalles dead standing near the camp. A lot of rain lately so most branches and falling trees was soaked. A bit of effort to split wood and not something I usually do on trips (but split wood do burn nicely). 6. How long was the trip and how did you get there? Just a few days. Cargo bike (SCO Short John from 1960's). 7. Who made the saw? Homemade frame in oak and blade made by Bahco. Here is a video showing how I made the frame https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl-_n2yM8c0&t=248s 8. What is you're kuksa/drinking cop made from? Birch burl. Homemade. 9. Who made the sweater? Handmade by a lady here in Denmark (hobbyist). If you want one try to google "Icelandic wool sweater" or ask around in you're local area trying to find one who can make you one or teach you how to make one yourself. 10. Who made the wooden bowl? Homemade - I made it in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0FAfKnO3yU 11. Who made the eating spoon? Homemade - I made it in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq4sqCvvPJs 12. Who made the cooking spoon? Homemade - I made it in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_iF1h8B7yU&t=1455s 13. What do you do for a living? And do you live in a house? Sometimes blacksmithing and sometimes youtube. My home is a lavvu - a small one for traveling and a larger one in a nature reserve in Northwest Denmark as a permanent basecamp. 14. Can I buy an axe, knife etc. from you? No. I only sell locally here in Denmark and limited amount. 15. Is the lake water safe to drink? Yes - this lake is clean (no filter or boiling needed). 16. Did you get a new camera? RP? 4K? Yes - upgraded from a Nikon D7000 to a Nikon Z30. This was the first time using the new camera (it records 4K but I will keep recording 1080 at least for a while longer. I need to upgrade my computer before I can consider handling 4K files. I did use a Canon RP camera for a while but sold it (regretted it short after), I did consider buying another RP, but Z30 was the cheaper option. Both are great cameras. 17. Have you considert getting a dog? Yes - maybe. 18. What if I have a question that are not included in this video description? Consider leaving a comment - I usually read all comments made within the first few days of a new uploade. If I don't see it - maybe someone else knows and is kind to answer. After the first few days do I update the video description with answer to some of the most asked questions. _________________ Some of the gear used in the video: Tent = Tschum Wood stove = Russian Cuting tools = homemade Boots = Lundhags Forest Pants = Klättermusen Gere 02 Sweater = Unknown Backpack = Eberlestock Mainframe f1 Sack = old packsack from a tentipi tent Sleeping bag = Carinthia Defence 4 Pot = Pathfinder Bushpot 2L Pot = Eagle 10L Kettle = Eagle 1.5L Raindeer skin = unknown, from Sapmi _________________ Video gear: Nikon Z30 Nikon 40mm 2 Nikon 50-250mm 4.5-6.3 Røde videomic NTG Macbook 2011 iMovie
