Abraham is known as the father of faith, but his journey was not perfect, instant, or easy. In this message, we look at Abraham’s story and the barriers he faced in the journey of faith: his background, the temptation to settle, the impossibility of God’s promise, and the long delay before Isaac was born. Through Abraham’s life, we are reminded that our past does not disqualify us, comfort is not the same as calling, impossible situations are not too hard for God, and delay does not mean abandonment.
