How To Fit a DEADLOCK To a Crafter / Sprinter van

We decided it was time to add some extra security to the van by fitting a deadlock to the back doors. After ongoing issues with the rear door locking system, we wanted a more reliable way to keep the van secure, so in this video we take on the job of installing a deadlock ourselves. What sounds simple on paper quickly turns into a proper DIY mission, with careful measuring, drilling through both sides of the rear door, cutting the trim to fit, rust-proofing the fresh holes, and making sure everything lines up exactly as it should.
