Description

This is the new Skoda Epiq — the Czech brand's smallest electric car and the production model that has just been officially revealed. In this walkaround, we go through everything: the design, the interior, the powertrain variants, the tech, and the features that make this one of the most significant electric SUVs of 2026. The new Skoda Epiq sits on the brand-new MEB+ electric platform and is offered in three variants. The Epiq 35 and Epiq 40 share a 38.5 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery making 114bhp and 133bhp respectively with a range of around 310 kilometres. The range-topping Skoda Epiq 55 gets a 55 kWh NMC battery, 208bhp and 290Nm of torque, a range of around 440 kilometres and charges from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes. All three are front-wheel drive. The Skoda Epiq is the first Skoda production model to fully adopt the new Modern Solid design language — slim T-shaped headlamps, a glossy black Tech-Deck Face, a drag coefficient of just 0.275 and a panoramic sunroof option. At 4,171mm long with a 475-litre boot and a 25-litre frunk, the space-to-size ratio is genuinely impressive for an entry-level car. Inside, the Skoda Epiq gets a 13-inch Android infotainment screen with Spotify, YouTube and Google Maps built in, wireless charging, seven airbags including a centre airbag as standard, and full one-pedal driving in B mode. The Skoda Epiq also supports bidirectional charging — V2L, V2H and V2G — which means you can power external devices, charge your home or feed energy back to the grid. The limited First Edition comes with the Epiq 55 drivetrain, Navajo Orange exterior accents on mirror caps, bumper surrounds and window trim, orange stitching throughout the interior, 20-inch exclusive alloy wheels and a two-tone black roof. It is the one to have. #evoIndia #SkodaEpiq #SkodaAuto #SUV #EV #ElectricCars Want more #ThrillOfDriving videos?
