The Princess of Wales visits The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester to highlight the healing power of holistic care alongside clinical treatment for people living with and beyond cancer. The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, caring for more than 60,000 patients each year. During the visit, The Princess will meet staff and patients at the Oak Road Treatment Centre, hear about complementary therapies, join an art session, visit the wellbeing garden and meet young patients and families in The Christie’s Teenage and Young Adult unit.
