Women in Tourism – Costa Rican Institute of Tourism

Centre Stage aims to advance women’s empowerment within the tourism sector, with the involvement of public institutions, diverse tourism businesses and the active support of civil society. This UN Tourism programme was implemented in Costa Rica during 2022 in close cooperation with the Institute of Tourism (ICT) through strategic actions that include technical trainings, collection of sex-disaggregated data and the strengthening of corporate policies.
