With This Pistol, FBI Changed Glock Forever!

The Glock 17M is one of the most interesting and misunderstood Glock pistols ever made. Technically, it is a Gen 4. But when you look at the features, it clearly feels like the bridge between Gen 4 and Gen 5. No finger grooves, flared magwell, ambidextrous extended slide stop, Glock Marksman Barrel, and several FBI-requested changes that later became part of the Gen 5 Glock lineup. In this video, I take a closer look at the Glock 17M, the FBI contract pistol that helped shape Glock’s future. I also share my personal experience with the FBI-issued Glock platform, why the 17M is much rarer than the 19M, and why I believe this gun is basically Glock’s strange little Gen 4.5.
