Waikiki officer suffers slash wounds to neck during assault investigation

Honolulu police have arrested a suspect in connection with the attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and assault. Around 4 p.m. on Feb. 28, police officers were responding to a fight at a Waikiki hotel, where it was reported that a 34-year-old man had been assaulted.
