COMMANDER AZERBAIJAN NAVAL FORCES VISIT KARACHI Commander Azerbaijan Naval Forces, Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, visited various Field Commands of Pakistan Navy in Karachi from 4–5 February 2026. During the visit, the dignitary called on Commander Karachi, Commander Pakistan Fleet, Commander Coast, and Commander Logistics. He also visited Pakistan Naval Academy, Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre (JMICC), and Pakistan Navy Ship TIPPU SULTAN. Matters of mutual interest were discussed, including regional maritime security and avenues for enhanced naval cooperation. The guest was briefed on Pakistan Navy’s pivotal role in maintaining maritime security and stability in the region, and he appreciated the high standards of professionalism and operational readiness of Pakistan Navy.
