On a truly unforgettable day at RIAT 2024, I had the honor of capturing Canada’s CF-18 Hornet in what would be her final performance at the Royal International Air Tattoo. This breathtaking display marked the end of an era for the RCAF CF-18 Demonstration Team, as they prepare to stand down in anticipation of Canada’s transition to the next-generation CF-35A fighter. One of the most emotional highlights of the day was the historic formation flight with a legendary Spitfire, symbolizing a bridge between the past and present of air power. The sight of these two icons flying together against the British skies was nothing short of extraordinary.
