Games Journalists are convinced that they can gaslight the public into accepting Marathon as a real game changer. The open beta this past weekend had a decent turn out, but when you compare it to something like the release of Resident Evil Requiem, it falls flat. Not to mention the game play of the latest/last release from Bungie hasn't progressed in decades, the evivetable flop on the horizon will elicit many tears and another round of blaming gamers.
