The streets are packed, the lights are blazing, and the economy is thriving naturally—without the need for government handouts or cringe-worthy slogans like "Night Vibes Hong Kong." This is what a real night economy looks like. Seeing this prosperity, and comparing it to the current state of Hong Kong... the contrast is a slap in the face. While an inland city buzzes with life, our so-called "Asia's World City" feels like a ghost town after 9 PM. It makes you wonder what our highly paid officials are actually doing, other than wasting public funds on useless campaigns. Witnessing this gap, as a Hong Konger, the frustration is real. It makes you want to scream at the leadership. The difference between getting things done and putting on a show has never been clearer.
