Bonobo Interactions

This one is for @pedroangelo3389 Twycross holds 10% of the European bonobo population, 13 in total ranging in age from 48 years to just over 2 months. Most of their time is split between play and grooming, which is a very important social behaviour. Bonobos are female led, they aren't as peaceful as people would like to believe, but disputes are settled faster than with chimps. These are getting used ,to being in one big group after being in two separate ones. The two matriarchs, Diatou and Lina, still hold power but the dominant female seems to be Cheka (mum of Ndeko and Upendi).
