Cars on the Green Albany 2026 was absolutely packed with classic Aussie muscle, rare Ford Falcons, Holden legends and custom builds from across Western Australia! In this episode of Aussie Garage, we head 5 hours south of Perth to Albany, WA for one of the best classic car events in the southwest – complete with a massive swap meet, show and shine, and some incredible owner interviews. We feature a rare XW GT Falcon with just 43,000 original miles, possibly an ex-police car with unique delete options, 3.1 diff ratio, matching numbers and fascinating history. There’s also a stunning XA Hardtop 302 V8, an original XK Falcon (October 1960) with 40,000 miles, and a beautifully restored 1965-66 Mustang 289 with hand controls. One of the wildest builds of the day? A 1948 Ford F5 pickup running Ford Maverick underpinnings, TD42 turbo diesel, coil springs, dual winches, solar setup, GQ Patrol dash, engineered and road legal – an off-road rat rod tourer that’s travelled Australia towing a 20ft caravan!
