NZ: Colder tonight for many, Lunar eclipse Tuesday, high pressure dominates

A lot of low pressure is spinning east of the country while a large high is moving in - this creates windy southerlies and south-easterlies in a number of regions today and into tomorrow (especially eastern parts of the North Island) with cloud and showers in the east easing over the next 24 hours. High pressure builds this week, warmer air comes in later in the week - and most regions are dry, or mainly dry.
