Description
Murphy is the definition of a happy-go-lucky Golden Retriever, but that big personality came with some big impulse control challenges. Like a lot of young dogs, Murphy could go from 0 to 100 in seconds—sleeping one moment and full-speed goofy the next.
After spending 2 weeks in our Board & Train program with Off Leash K9 Training Detroit, Murphy learned how to slow his brain down, build better impulse control, and focus even when he’s excited.
We didn’t change Murphy’s fun, joyful personality… we just helped him learn when to turn it on and when to turn it off.
Now Murphy can:
• Stay calm and focused around distractions
• Walk politely on leash
• Respond reliably to commands
• Think before reacting
Training isn’t about taking the personality out of your dog. It’s about giving them the skills to navigate the world successfully.
Murphy is still the same goofy Golden… just with a little more self-control.
If your dog struggles with impulse control, excitement, or listening around distractions, our Detroit Board & Train program can help.
