Mercedes 280sl Pagoda has a completely discrete digital sound system upgrade using Audison, Morel, Focal and Becker radio. A discrete subwoofer enclosure was added to this system for bass duties, Morel speakers fitted into the kick area and tweeters mounted up top with the GPS antenna in the centre. Digital amplification with DSP tech enables us to fully tune the system in this car to our preferences. Classic car audio is one of my favourite cases, something beautiful and old from simpler times that didn't have the opportunity for this functionality as technology has evolved is a great canvas for hidden, modern technology.
