The car was refurbished in 2021 while still in the United Kingdom, and was imported to the United States later that year. Refinished in silver and black over red vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 998cc inline-four linked to a four-speed manual transaxle and features 10″ steel wheels, styled wheel covers, sliding door windows, pop-out rear quarter windows, a wood-veneer dashboard, and a cabin heater. Work performed between 2021 and 2025 involved rebuilding the engine, installing a set of Sachs gas shocks, and replacing the steering rack and the radiator fan. The car was listed on BaT in August 2025, and it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. This Mk II Elf is now offered at no reserve in New York by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, service records, factory literature, workshop manuals, spare parts, and a Pennsylvania title.
