Baked chocolate donuts made with wholesome whole wheat flour, no frying needed! 🍩✨ Topped with rich chocolate and colorful sprinkles for that perfect treat. 🍫🌈 Healthy, delicious, and guilt-free! 😍 INGREDIENTS To activate yeast: - 1/4 Cup Warm Milk - 3/4 Tsp Sugar - 3/4 Tsp Active Dry Yeast To make the dough: - 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour/Gehun ka Atta - 1 & 1/2 Tsp Cocoa Powder - A pinch of Salt - 1/4 Cup + 2 Tbsp Water - 1 Tbsp Butter - 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar - 1 Tsp Oil Toppings: - 70-80 gm Milk Chocolate - Edible Sprinkles METHOD - Add sugar to warm milk and mix till sugar is dissolved. Now add yeast and mix well. Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes. The yeast will bloom/get activated. - ⁠Take whole wheat flour in a bowl and add cocoa powder and salt. Mix well. Add the yeast mixture and water. Mix till combined. Now add butter & powdered sugar. - ⁠Knead this dough for 5-7 minutes if using a hand mixer or stand mixer or knead manually for 15-17 minutes. - ⁠Add a little oil and form a dough ball. Oil will help you handle the sticky dough. - ⁠Cover and rest the dough untill it doubles in size. - After the dough doubles in size, deflate it and divide into 6 equal portions. Use flour and flatten each portion and cut a hole in the middle using a piping nozzle or something similar. - ⁠Place the donuts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. - ⁠Cover with a cloth and let these rest for second proofing for 35-40 minutes. - ⁠Preheat OTG at 200°C for 10 minutes and then bake the donuts at the same temperature for 15-17 minutes. - ⁠Take them out and place on a grill rack. - ⁠Melt some chocolate of your choice in a microwave or over double boiler. Dip one face of each donut in the chocolate and add some sprinkles on top and Enjoy!
