BMW Digital Key Plus | Sharing your BMW Digital Key

Sharing your BMW Digital Key with your contacts is convenient and easy. Depending on your BMW model, you can also restrict certain driving features. This is ideal for young or inexperienced drivers. To get started: 1. Open your Digital Wallet App on your smarphone and select the BMW Digital Key. 2. Select the “Share” icon and choose your preferred sharing method to share the key. 3. Tap “Continue” and follow the on-screen steps to verify your identity and select the contact to whom you wish to send your BMW Digital Key. 4. Your recipient can then add the key to their digital wallet and unlock the vehicle. 5. If you wish to revoke driver access to BMW Digital Key, you can do so at any time. Simply select the contact you wish to delete and tap “Stop Sharing.” By setting restrictions, you can limit the vehicle’s top speed, acceleration, and sound system volume. You can also prevent the disabling of Dynamic Stability Control and Dynamic Traction Control.
