The Wild Cat People Keep as Pets (@PumbaCaracal)

At first, when this animal shows its teeth, it looks like it’s about to attack. Most people think it’s a dangerous wild cat. But surprisingly, this is a Caracal. You can recognize it by its sharp triangular ears and the long black tufts sticking out from them. Even though it looks intimidating, caracals are known to be surprisingly friendly with humans. They often make growling sounds, which makes them seem aggressive, but in reality they’re usually calm and rarely attack people. In fact, in some parts of the Middle East, people even keep caracals as pets. And when they’re babies… they look unbelievably cute. 🐾
