He’s a veteran. He used to be an executive chef. After a divorce, he lost everything. Then came a disability. Then addiction. Now he’s sober and trying to rebuild his life. Today, he’s living in a tent in Ohio and asking for help. He was told he’s not “homeless enough” to qualify for support. This isn’t about people not wanting help. It’s about how hard we make it for homeless people to access services they desperately need.
