The rear disc will most likely be 200mm – the front disc is 240mm, just like in the other variants. Addition of ABS is definitely a good thing since it ups the safety quotient of the bike by preventing the wheel from locking up under hard braking. Single-channel ABS means the system works only on the front wheel. TVS has also changed the Raider 125 tyre sizes, they’re now fatter. The bike sports a 90/90-17 front tyre, and a 110/80-17 rear tyre. In comparison, the current model currently has a 80/100-17 front tyre and a 100/90-17 rear tyre. The increased width could help make the Raider 125 more stable on straight roads, while the lower sidewall thickness could make the ride sportier – however that remains to be seen till we ride the bike. The last update is the new red paint scheme. It has white stripes on a red fuel tank, a red front wheel, and a black rear wheel. This two-tone paint scheme is a completely new graphic style for the Raider, and we really like it. That said, the bike has an LCD console, not the top-end variant’s TFT unit. Considering the graphics and the instrument console, this could very well be the iGo variant. Showroom details Perfect TVS Ranaghat West Bengal Contact no.: 9434129639
