Lake Superior is a very large and chilly lake, but it is so clear and beautiful and worth every shiver. :) When we went on this trip to the Michigan Upper Peninsula, I still didn't have a name for this silicone mermaid tail design. I was going to call it the "Little Dragon," since it reminds me of an Eastern Dragon tail somewhat, but then I saw the footage that my sister and dad helped me capture... and the name was an easy choice. While the tail was not designed to match the colors of the Lake Superior shoreline, it did match them perfectly. The greens and coppers and purple-tones of the tail blended in soooo well with Lake Superior. And so, the silicone mermaid tail was dubbed the "Lake Superior Siren Tail."
