OM System arrived—the M.Zuiko Digital ED 50–200mm F2.8 IS PRO - my first hour with the new lens

This afternoon, the new professional lens from OM System arrived—the M.Zuiko Digital ED 50–200mm F2.8 IS PRO. 📦 Since I already own its big sister, it immediately felt like a member of the family. So I quickly attached it to the OM-1 II and took advantage of the remaining light (which is hardly there today) for a good three-quarters of an hour. It was really quite dark, so even with this very fast lens, I had to use very high ISO settings for the planned flight shots. And since I was shooting through double glazing from my living room, the image quality was naturally not optimal. But what the heck – my fingers were itching, and waiting for better light was hopeless today anyway. So: first assignment under difficult conditions – true to the motto: “Anyone can do it in optimal light!” 😉 📍 Dohr, Eifel, Germany.
