He Came to the Philippines to Find a Wife… Now He’s Back With a Thai One

Today we had an unexpected meeting in Angeles City with our friend from Riga, Latvia, who was just passing through the city to see us. Years ago, he came to the Philippines with one clear goal — to find a wife. However, his experience didn’t turn out the way he expected, and his search here was not successful. Life took a different turn, and this time he returned to the Philippines together with his Thai wife. We originally planned to meet at a Thai restaurant in Balibago, Angeles City. Unfortunately, his trip from Manila to Angeles took almost 4 hours, and by the time he arrived it was already late — the restaurant was closing at 10 PM. So instead, we decided to meet at Margarita Station, a newer spot located near the bars along Perimeter Road. This video captures a real, unfiltered moment — spontaneous travel, long road delays, nightlife areas, and honest conversations that happen off-camera most of the time. This vlog is not about judging anyone’s choices. It’s about real life in the Philippines, unexpected meetings, relationships, travel realities, and how plans often change when you’re on the road.
