Welp...I already know the comments are about to be completely normal and reasonable. 🏴‍☠️😅 The skeleton that greets you at the beginning of Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland has officially been replaced with a new animated figure featuring a projected face. And I can already see both sides. On one hand, the movement makes the scene feel a little more alive (ironically), and it’s cool to see Disney using newer technology in a classic attraction. On the other hand...projection faces haven’t exactly had the best track record. 👀 (Looking at you, Frozen Ever After.) Plus, for a ride that’s so iconic, even small changes can feel like a really big deal. I have a feeling this is one of those updates that’s going to have Disney fans debating for...approximately forever. So I have to ask—which camp are you in? ⚓️ Love the updated scene and think it adds to the experience? ☠️ Or would you rather Disney leave the classics alone? I’m grabbing some popcorn before I read these comments. 🍿
