CFNR 2269 Local South | Henry Miller Ave. Railroad Crossing, Los Banos CA (Volta Area)

Feb 10, 2026 12:54pm After their stop at Liberty Packing, the CFNR train continued south down the West Side right into Morning Star Packing of Los Banos, their end of the line on this run. This would be my last catch of this day here as I did stop by Morning Star in case I was lucky enough to get a switching move of a time out activation of the next crossing on the line at the Volta Ignomar Grade crossing which also had a new signal installed since Google Maps last update but I never filmed that crossing so I left after sitting their for some minutes. This crossing is a modernized CFNR crossing consisting of CFNR mid to late 2010s signals with the far one installed in 2019 and the close one installed sometime after that. Not sure why the CFNR would upgrade signals years apart unless both signals were knocked down replacements.
