Both the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer ($58) and the CoverGirl TruBlend Baked Luminous Bronzer ($13) are built on the SAME three-ingredient backbone: Mica for color, Boron Nitride for that buttery, creamy slip, and Dimethicone to smooth and fill the skin.  Both are talc-free, fragrance-free, buildable, and give a dimensional, never-flat finish. The swirl technique is nearly identical : multidimensional color instead of one flat tone. Is Hourglass more refined?
