What is Aerochrome?
Originally developed by Kodak in the 1940s for aerial and military reconnaissance, Aerochrome was an infrared-sensitive color film that could reveal what the human eye can’t see. It transformed greens into vivid pinks and reds, creating surreal images that looked like a mix between reality and dream. This unique color response came from the film’s ability to capture near-infrared light and map it into the visible red spectrum.
In this video I used our new Film Look "Aero" (built by Eric Lenz) simulating the Aerochrome film stock which is now inside of the latest EMUL8 update 1.1.0 🤙🏼 If you purchased EMUL8 before, make sure to download the latest version. We also fixed some other things, made our Film Grain even better and implemented an "Intensity" slider to dial back the film looks if you want to.
